I cannot believe that it’s already July! I’m sitting at a friends’ house watching Hot Ones – have you seen it? It’s a show where celebrities eat wings that are soaked in different hot sauces with varying levels of heat. At the same time, the host asks the celebrity questions about themselves. It’s hysterical. Anyways, another month has gone by, which means it’s time for another Favorites roundup. These items have been staples this summer. Without further adieu, here are my June beauty favorites!
Megababe Bust Dust
Boob sweat sucks. The Megababe Bust Dust helps prevent swamp boob. It’s a powder that dries up moisture around and under your boobs. Bust Dust is something I carry in my bag from June – September. Normally, applying powder to your boobs is messy. But Bust Dust has a pump mechanism that pumps powder out – it’s much easier than applying it yourself. I highly recommend this if you have sweaty boobs!
Volition Celery Green Cream
I’ve been trying Volition’s new Celery Green Cream since the beginning of June. It’s the perfect lightweight moisturizer for summer! I don’t think “cream” is the right way to describe it, though. It’s more like a gel; it feels cool when you apply it. The Celery Green Cream absorbs easily and has a faint scent of cucumber – I find it refreshing. This wouldn’t be moisturizing enough for dry skin in the winter, so I’ll probably use it in the spring – fall.
Note: Volition gifted me the Celery Green Cream. All opinions are my own.
Youth to the People Adaptogen Mist
YTTP’s Adaptogen Mist is another product that I constantly reaching for. This face mist is unique because it contain adaptogens and peptides to visibly calm irritated skin; I don’t know of any other face mists that reduce redness. Hopefully YTTP comes out with a travel size soon!
BeautyBio GloPRO Microneedling Tool
BeautyBio sent me one of their GloPROs at the beginning of June. The GloPRO is a microneedling tool that has 540 stainless steel needles. The needles are only .003 mm long. People always ask if microneedling hurts. I can’t speak to microneedling from a spa or dermatology office. But the GloPRO doesn’t hurt at all – I swear. I’ve only been using the tool for a few weeks, so I don’t have any long-term results. But I can tell that my products absorb better after I use the GloPRO.
Note: BeautyBio gifted me the GloPRO. All opinions are my own.
Pacifica Mineral SPF Body Butter
I found this SPF body butter at Target (for some reason, it’s not on the Target website. I linked the Pacifica website, but you should be able to find it in your local Target)! While I wear SPF on my face everyday, I haven’t traditionally worn any SPF on my arms or hands. Arms and hands are exposed to the sun while driving. I like this sunscreen because it feels like a regular body butter. And it smells SO good – just like pineapple!
Let me know if you have any questions about my June beauty favorites! What products have you been enjoying lately? I’m always looking to try something new.
